The Food Hub
The Food Hub is one of Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden’s (KFBG) incubators for the Eat Well Together initiative.
Located at the HKU Kadoorie Centre in Shek Kong, the Food Hub is a collaborative project between The University of Hong Kong and KFBG. It offers guests a holistic food experience alongside educational programmes centred on sustainable living.
Guided by sustainability principles, the Food Hub strives to minimise the carbon footprint of all meals while maximising the educational, social, and environmental value of the food we consume.
Visitors can enjoy light, flavourful meals prepared with fresh, locally sourced, and fairly traded ingredients, while also appreciating the Centre’s eco‑friendly architecture. In addition, our team is always happy to share cookery tips, low‑carbon recipes, and practical ideas for sustainable living, making every visit both enjoyable and inspiring.
